Hello and Welcome!

My name is Kayleigh, and I’m a Christian teen author. I’m a Year 2 student of the Author Conservatory, which is a college alternative for writers.

Stories are powerful. They make you think and feel things you would not have thought of on your own. You can experience a whole adventure in a different world through someone else’s stories. Stories affect the way we view the world.

I write because I’ve loved stories ever since I was little. I can’t remember a time without stories. I listened to the Chronicles of Narnia when I was four, and fell in love with fantasy. They were a place for me to escape to in hard times and in times to relax. I read voraciously (and still do) and imagined things so vividly that I eventually began writing my own stories.

Here I am, over a decade after first hearing the Chronicles of Narnia, and I’m writing those stories. I write fantasy stories set in other worlds that feel real without dumping an overload of information on my readers. I write characters that my readers can relate to through their success and failures, and who grow through the course of the story. I write stories with rich depth, like the Chronicles of Narnia, that can be enjoyed by the whole family. All my stories are clean, no adult content and cussing here!
